Deputies may work in different housing environments, including direct supervision, linear supervision, podular supervision, and single-cell supervision. They may also gain experience in areas such as booking, records, classification, transportation, and recreation.

Styles
Confinement is not one-size-fits-all. Deputies may work in different supervision settings throughout the Adult Detention Center, from direct interaction in housing units to secure monitoring in higher-security areas.
Direct Supervision
Deputies work inside housing units with minimum-security inmates, providing active and continuous supervision.
Linear Supervision
Deputies monitor medium-security housing areas from a central post and conduct regular patrols.
Podular Supervision
Deputies supervise maximum-security housing units from secure control booths with visibility across the pod.
Single-Cell Supervision
Deputies monitor inmates who require more focused supervision or specialized housing.
